Reaction properties:
    Hexamethyldisilazane is an important organosilicon compound. It is easy to hydrolyze and release NH3 to form hexamethyldisilane.  
    In the presence of a catalyst, it reacts with alcohol or phenol to produce trimethylalkoxysilane or trimethylaryloxysilane.
    React with anhydrous hydrogen chloride to release NH3 or NH4Cl to form trimethylchlorosilane.
Storage   conditions:
    The warehouse is ventilated and dry at low temperature;
    Store separately from oxidant and acid.
Applications:
     Hexamethyldisilazane can be exchanged with chlorosilane monomer to obtain polysilazane.
     This method has great advantages over the direct ammonia method in synthesis.
   
 It is a pharmaceutical intermediate of amikacin and is a hydroxyl and amino protectant.
   
 It is a silylation reagent, which can be used in the production of cetacanamycin.
   
 It is used to produce rubber and medicine.
     
Basic silane protecting agent, inorganic filler treatment   agent.
